This free edit will allow us both an opportunity to examine each other's work, and determine whether we'd be a good fit to work together. Before submitting your manuscript for a free edit, please read the guidelines.  $50 Discount on any service purchased by August 1, 2010. Write Integrity provides a number of editing packages to fit your needs and your budget. All prices quoted are based on standard formatting: double-spaced, Times New Roman font size 12, 1" margins all around.* If you are planning to self-publish, be sure to check out our special Self-Publishing Packages. The Works: This edit includes a substantive, developmental, and copy edit, all in one process. We'll evaluate your manuscript as a whole and line-by-line, looking at matters such as grammar, punctuation, word usage, spelling, plot, structure, consistency, clarity, pacing, POV issues, sensory details, dialogue versus narrative, showing versus telling, and active versus passive tense. Each edit includes an overall summary of main issues, and detailed comments placed throughout the manuscript. This thorough edit provides you with the most value for your money. $5.00 per page, based on standard formatting as described above. * This edit does not include a final proofing. If you wish a final proofing after you've completed the changes suggested in the edits and/or just before you submit for publication, the fee is $1.00 per page. ** This edit does not include major rewriting. If you wish for your manuscript to be rewritten, please inquire about pricing. Conference Special: Send us your synopsis and first three chapters (up to 15,000 words) before you head to conference. We'll give it The Works, help prepare you for a one-on-one with a publisher or agent, and advise you on your elevator pitch. $250 per special. On the Light Side: Belong to a critique group? Has your manuscript has already made the rounds? Now you're ready to take it to the next level. Our Light Side edit provides a lighter version of The Works described above, because many of the issues mentioned may already be resolved. $3.00 per page * This edit does not include a final proofing. If you wish a final proofing after you've completed the changes suggested in the edits and/or just before you submit for publication, the fee is $1.00 per page. Manuscript Evaluation Only: We'll read the first five chapters of your book (up to 25,000 words), and provide you with a detailed two-page evaluation and market assessibility. Our evaluation may include recommendations for the type of edit you should seek, or issues you may need to address before submitting your manuscript to an editor or a publisher. We'll also advise you on market options for your work. If you choose to hire Write Integrity within 30 days after your initial evaluation, we will credit your evaluation payment towards the editing fee. $200 per evaluation Scheduling: We can schedule your project to meet your needs. We work well on deadlines and can usually fit you into the schedule within a week or two, but we can also add you to our schedule up to one year in advance. You do not have to have a Paypal account to send money - you may pay through them using any major credit card. Your payment method or account numbers are not shared with us when Paypal transmits funds. We are happy to make payment arrangements with you on any project over $500.
