Can you get me published?
Oh, how we wish we could answer that with a resounding, YES, but we'd be lying if we did.
You are the only one who can get you published, and unfortunately, in this business that isn't even a guarantee, unless you choose to self-publish.
But, we can help you present a professional, polished image. For instance, we can produce an edited manuscript that is formatted properly, and a professional Web site that helps build your platform. We do have the experience that can guide you along the way.
However, you are ultimately responsible for writing the best book possible by studying and learning the craft of writing, and by working hard to market yourself and your work by attending conferences and networking through various means (online groups, local organizations, speaker's bureaus, etc.)

Do you edit any type of material? Poetry? Academic papers? Erotica?
Although we want to serve everyone, there are several types of projects we cannot or will not tackle. We are not qualified to edit/critique poetry or academic papers, but we can give you names of talented, qualified people who perform these types of edits.
We choose not to edit erotica, and suggest you check the latest version of Writer's Market Guide for editors who do.

How do I send you payment?
We accept payments through Paypal only. You do not have to have a Paypal account to submit payment. When we agree on terms of your project, I send an invoice through Paypal, and you can pay it with your account or with any major credit card through the Paypal portal. I do not receive any of your financial information or account numbers when Paypal transmits payment.
We are happy to make payment arrangements with you for any project over $500.

Do you have office hours?
Office hours are usually Monday-Thursday 7 a.m. - 7 p.m. Central time, with irregular hours on Friday and Saturday. Of course, on tight deadlines, all of that gets tossed out the window.

Do I need to make a reservation? How far in advance are you booked? How far in advance can I book?
Reservations are recommended, but not required. When you reserve a time, we place you on the calendar to prevent overbooking a particular week.
Right now, we're booking two weeks in advance. We hope to keep it at that pace, but closer to conference time, the calendar fills up fast, so we might extend that just a bit.
You may book your project up to a year in advance. This is great if you know a tentative date of a book release, or a deadline, and want to get your order in early.
We do require a deposit when you make a reservation, but that's just part of your total invoice anyway, not an extra fee. If you need to change the date when it gets closer to time, we're happy to oblige as the schedule permits.

Where are you located?
We are located in the southern United States - Alabama specifically - but our clients are located worldwide because most (99%) of our business is conducted through cyberspace.
